These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Syntrofos (the "Service"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Syntrofos is a personal AI companion for iOS. The Service is provided "as is" and may change over time as we ship improvements and new features.

2. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for illegal activity.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the Service or circumvent rate limits.
• Do not use the Service to generate content that violates the rights of others.
• You are responsible for the content you submit.

3. Accounts

Accounts are optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and fees

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are governed by Apple's subscription terms. Refunds are handled by Apple.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including the app, brand, and underlying technology, is owned by us and our licensors. You retain ownership of your content.

6. Disclaimers

The Service uses generative AI. Outputs may sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify important information independently. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app before they take effect.
